About
Celine Lam is a Singaporean pianist and educator who recently completed her Master of Music at the University of Queensland, graduating with Distinction. She previously earned her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music and Diploma in Music from LASALLE College of the Arts, specializing in Classical Piano.
Performance Experience
​
Her performance experience spans solo, chamber, and cross-disciplinary collaborations. Recent highlights include being invited back for a Featured Alumna Recital at LASALLE College of the Arts (Aug 2025), performing as a soloist at the Queensland Music Teachers’ Association Auditorium (Jul 2025), and annual ANZAC Day performances at Emmanuel College (2024 & 2025). She has also performed at Singapore venues such as the Esplanade Library, Singapore Conference Hall, Festive Arts Theatre, and Changi Airport Terminal 3. She also participated in masterclasses with international educators, including Richard Ormrod (Royal Northern College of Music).

At LASALLE, she have been involved in the improvisation section at the recent LASALLE Piano Voyage: The Night of the Opera 2021. She performed and collaborated with dancers at the LASALLE Piano Voyage: Musical Reflection and Chopin Music and Dance Collaboration featuring Polish choreographer, Maria Stoklosa in 2020. She has also performed a duet at the Valentine's Day Concert @ Esplanade Library in the same year.

Teaching & Pedagogy
Celine is an experienced teacher with over six years of experience across private studios, music schools, and higher education, having taught more than 100 students aged 4–50. She combines strong technical foundations, creativity, and a student-centered, holistic approach to learning. She has organised student recitals, including the Young Musicians Festival at the National Library (2023), helping students gain confidence and public performance experience.

She has also served as an accompanist for examinations, choirs, and professional ensembles, including as Official Accompanist at Emmanuel College Choir Fest (2025). In addition, she has facilitated live piano music for dancers and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Early Training & Achievements
Celine began her piano studies at age 8 and also played flute in school and college bands, serving as section leader and assistant librarian. She achieved Distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 Piano (2018).

Recognition & Awards
Celine has received recognition in competitions, including Notable Performer at the Manhattan International Music Competition (2022) and Silver Award at the Asia Arts Festival (2022). She was also a finalist at the 6th Overseas Performers Festival (2022) and Singapore International Piano & Violin Competition (2022).
